Dusted William Sounds is, for the most part, the brain child of Derik White.

I (Derik White) have been interested in electronic music long before computers where the norm in your average household.  

My first love, was old school hip hop and electro.  I then became interested in Industrial music back in the Wax Trax era of the late 80s and early 90s.  During that same time, I fell in love with early house and tecno, especially Acid House.  These influences contribute greatly to my current style and productions.

As far as sounds goes, I started out doing freelance sample and soundware development for other companies. 

Some of my songs and sound have wound up in video games, album releases, and in the hands of top producers.

I had a few ideas for sample projects, and I wanted to share them with others.  So Dusted William Sounds was born.
