The FreeSP sample pack is now available. All you have to do is sign up for our newsletter. You'll get the links as soon as you verify the subscription.

The FreeSP is a set of over 80 samples. These are original drum hits from various virtual drum machines and synths processed through an SP1200 drum machine.

It's a brand new year.

We've updated the Dope Ass Funky Drum Loops to version 3.0. This was a free update for all users and still only an amazing $29.99. For more info check out our products page.

The Dope Ass Funky Drum Loops are now available in the following formats.

WAV -> So you can load them directly into your DAW or cut them up the way you want.

RX2 (Recycle) -> You can load them into Reason, or any other app that accepts the RX2 format.

SoundFont -> These are like the the Recycle files in that each slice is on it's own key in the sampler. You can trigger each and every note in a loop individually.

SFZ (for PC and MAC) -> This type of file is very similiar to the soundfont file. Many synths and samplers accept this file type, for example, Camel Audio's Alchemy, Cakewalk's Romplers.

MIDI -> Along with the SoundFont and SFZ files you also get the corresponding MIDI files to trigger the keys in the exact way the beat was supposed to sound. This let's you keep the groove, change the tempo, replace notes, move notes...Just drag the midi file into your DAW to trigger the sampler that has the loops loaded.

The Dope Ass Funky Drum Loops have been updated to version 2.5.

This is a free update for all users and includes.

All loops available as SoundFonts as well as REX and WAV.
Midi files are also now included to play a loop in SoundFont or REX format in your DAW.

Why is this so cool? Grab yourselves pretty much any sampler. Like the free Short circuit at Vember Audio, and load up a Soundfont in the sampler. Next copy the corresponding midi file and insert that onto the same track as Shortcurcit in your DAW. Now you have your DAW triggering the individual loops slices.

This is awesome. You now can have more control than ever over your loops. Rearrange hits, quantize hits, edit and tweak individual slices. The possibilities are practically endless.

We are going to update the loop pack to version 2.5 sometime this week. This means to be fair, we will also extend the intro offer one more week. That makes the Dusted William Dope Ass Funky Drum Loops still only $10 until December 10.

The update will include the following

All loops available in Soundfont format
All associated midi files will be available as well.

Having the midi files will make it easier to play the REX files in sync with your DAW using certain samplers.

The soundfonts opens up the door for the pack to be used with synths\samplers that don't support Recycle files, but will load soundfonts.

The long awaited update is finally here!

Dusted Williams Sounds Funky Ass Drum Loops has been updated to Version 2!

The Funky Ass Loop pack now consists of the following.

Over 200 Loops.
All loops are organized into tempo folder.
All loops are now 24/44.1.
Loops are also in the RECYCLE format.

Since the loops are all available in the Recylce format you can now load them up in Reason, Stylus RMX, Battery, EnergyXT2 as well as countess other audio apps.

The introduction offer is still available until December 3rd Midnight Pacific Standard Time.

So you an still get this awesome loop pack for $10 dollars.

The price will then go up to $29.99.

Dusted William Sounds has planned an update to the Dusted William Sounds Funky Ass Drum Loops.

The new recording session starts tomorrow night and finishes on Saturday the 5th.

What does that mean? Well more loops, BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!!!

How much would you be willing to pay if I said I was going to provide tempo information in the file name or the folder name? How much more would you pay if I told you I was going to REX the files and you could use them in your favorite audio apps? Now tell me, how much would you pay if I told you we will add some hi-hat and cymbal only grooves?

What would you say if I told you that you would get all that for FREE? Yes, I said it. The update is going to be free to all existing users.

The price is still $10 until November 1st 2007. On November 1st Pacific time the price will go up drastically. I'm thinking $39.99, so now is the time to get 'em!

The planned product will be as follows.

...At least 200 loops in the same style, in the same room, and with the same drummer. We'll also include a nice selection of hi-hat only grooves.

...All files will be looped and organized in folders with the tempo in the folders name.

...Last but not least. The files will all be REX'd so you can use them in REASON, LIVE7, GURU, STYLUS RMX, ENERGY XT, and countless other apps.

Remember the price is still only $10 (that's US dollars for all you Euro users :) until November 1st 2007.
